This was such a special and sunny central PA wedding. Karah had emailed me to let me know that for the ceremony of their wedding she would be wearing her grandmother’s wedding dress. It was a beautiful dress. Long sleeves, hand sewn by her grandmother herself. In fact, Karah’s mom and Aunt wore the dress for their ceremonies as well. Three generations of women wore this dress for their wedding. I was so honored to have been there to capture that for them. They even had pictures of each woman wearing the dress for a group picture. Because of that, details pictures were so fun!
This venue (Rockford Plantation) was stunning! They even had the cutest little getting ready house at the front of the property by the mansion. Karah and her girls were able to get ready there and it made for such adorable pictures! Let me show you more from this sunny Central PA wedding…
That was the cottage! So small and cute!
Do you see that detail in her dress? I can’t over the fact her grandmother MADE that!!
I thought it was amazing that they had sunflowers in the bouquet and boutonnière. That’s because we shot their engagement session in a sunflower field!
This whole property was stunning! I couldn’t get over how amazing the mansion was as a backdrop to their ceremony.
Look at these women! Four weddings, one dress. That is just so amazing.
After the picture with the other women who wore the dress, Karah made a quick change to a new dress. The rest of the pictures had the new dress! It was a fun switch.
This was such a happy wedding. I just so happy to be there documenting the love and happiness of the day. It’s clients like Karah and John that make my job so easy and rewarding.
