At a desk in my sophomore year dorm room, four years ago, Katie Fri Photography was born. Realizing my love for weddings and photography could be combined was a turning point for me. Now I get to share in this journey with my couples, capturing each moment so they don’t need to take mental pictures as one of the best days of their lives goes by.
My love for photography started with a point and shoot camera, a dog and my front yard. It grew through classes spanning from middle school all the way through college. It started as a dream to become a Nat Geo photographer then morphed into a goal of being in the fashion world. But in my sophomore year dorm room, my business sprouted and grew. With the support of family and friends, six years later I am still soaking in every second of this beautiful journey witnessing and documenting my couples on their special day.
