I don’t have words to describe this shoot. I have to come up with some for this blog. But all I keep thinking is: WOW. A winter engagement session in Jersey City was exactly what I needed. Allie and Dan were exactly what I needed. These two absolutely killed this session. They were such troopers with every new idea I would get. And when they walked me up to the pier I just about lost it. This background was made for Allie and Dan, I am convinced!
These two were also some of the first people to get my new Wedding Guide! I sent it to them when they booked and they told me they loved it! Inside I have an engagement shoot style guide and I was so happy they found that helpful. I think they managed to take it a step further with their looks, though. Allie got compliments as we were walking around finding spots for shots and everything. Want proof? Okay – here is Allie and Dan’s Jersey City Winter Engagement shoot!!
Allie’s shirt was my FAVORITE. She said she got it off of Amazon and had been waiting for an excuse to order it. I’m so glad she chose to get it for this shoot.
Those giggles though!!
I love taking a moment during shoots to quiet down and give them a second to breathe in a more intimate moment. It usually ends with me having the bride flash her eyes at me and me SCREAMING because look at how pretty!!
I tried to get as much out of the NYC skyline as possible. I mean, how could I not?
These colors were just perfect. No other words. Oh, but this next series of poses was my FAVORITE of the day!
Time for a sweater switch!!
We saw this park and found some spots where we could stay away from people and still get great shots.
This was when a few ladies called out to Allie complimenting her sweater and jeans. RIGHTFULLY SO!!
The best way to end a shoot? Go: so I took 600 pictures, I think we have enough shots. Then take 200 more! Hahaha!
I am so excited for Allie and Dan’s wedding. They will be getting married in the spring at one of my favorite venues: Rosewood Farms. Can’t wait to share the amazing pictures I’m sure we will get that day, too. 🙂
