Emily and Peter chose a cold, but spectacular day to tie the knot. The two had chosen this day and paired it with beautiful, deep colors that made Emily’s white dress simply pop! This was my second winter Pennsylvania wedding since moving here over a year ago, but it was definitely the coldest. This couple did not even act as though it was that cold. They were so obviously in love and happy to be with one another, the guests did not seem to even notice the flurries start to fall as the day went on.
Everything about this day was planned to a T, all thanks to David with Mx2 Events Wedding Planning (you can find their info here). From the hanging arrangements above the tables to cozy sitting area by the fire, nothing was left forgotten. Let’s also take a moment to just sit in complete awe of Emily’s dress. How beautiful is this gown? When I get to a venue and finally get to see the bride’s dress for the first time, I get so excited. How could I not when the gowns look like this? Then paired with the shoes she chose and the gorgeous bouquet?
I loved working this wedding. Getting to explore new venues around the area has been a joy! In fact, Historic Acres of Hershey has become one of my favorites to shoot. I think the pictures below will show you why….
I love capturing these moments of my couple reading notes they sent to one another. I always ask if they want that moment photographed and if they would like me to step out after out of respect. I want to keep your moment to you and not intrude, ever.
Do you see the hanging arrangements? I mean come on! How unique is that?
