The Highlights of the 2024 Wedding Season

2024 has flown by! I truly have no idea how we are nearing the end of the year, already. However, with the end of the year brings a recap of all the pretty days we got to capture!

This year was like no other. I got to revisit so many of my favorite venues and add even more to the list! With that I present to you my Wedding Photography Highlights 2024!

Elopements

To start the year I got to capture two very special elopements that were a dream. The first, a courthouse elopement in Annapolis, MD. The second, taking place at Logan Inn in New Hope, PA. Both beautifully thought out and meaningful to these two couples.

Golf Course Weddings

Continuing the Wedding Photography Highlights 2024 I got to capture a few weddings at some stunning golf courses. One in particular, The Lodge at Liberty Forge, was a revisit for me but this time in the spring! The other was a new visit for me in Maryland at the Hillendale Country Club. Both weddings were absolutely stunning and I will never get tired of a country club wedding!

Rosewood Farms

One of my all time favorite venues to visit is Rosewood Farms and this year’s wedding did not disappoint! This beautiful day was filled with perfect details and special moments for this couple. I always cherish my time at this stunning venue.

Bohemia Overlook

Next for our Wedding Photography Highlights 2024 I visited the always jaw dropping Bohemia Overlook. Not only did I get to capture one day at this venue this year, I got to capture two! Both days were held at their Manor venue with the most incredible overlook of the bay. I never get over these views.

Stone Mill Manor

Next on the recap is on of my favorite local venues, Stone Mill Inn. This venue pairs classic cottage architecture with modern structures to create such a unique space for a wedding day. Last visit I had there in 2023 was a rainy one, so this day was a treat as we had so much sun and could explore the whole venue.

Travel

These last two weddings were longer travel days for me. One in southern Virginia and the other on the water in Maryland. First, the southern VA wedding took place at House Mountain Inn in Lexington, VA. While we had some rain, this day was nothing short of magical. The views were insane and by the end of the night we got a treat with a rainbow!

The second travel wedding was on the bride’s family property. This property has been in the family for around 100 years and after this wedding, had seen 3 couples tie the knot! My sentimental side was touched and emotional from all the beautiful intention and detail from start to finish.

Wedding Photography Highlights 2024

This past year has been absolutely incredible. I cannot wait to start 2025 off right with a wedding in the first month! I already miss these beautiful days.
